About
Through education, the beautiful 'gems' found in the heart of every child are revealed. Heart Gems strives to educate a child to influence the world in a helpful way as they grow into individuals, who are not only developing themselves but also consciously concerned about the well-being of others in their community.
Heart Gems is volunteer-based, spiritual education program for children from the whole community, regardless of religious or spiritual background. Heart Gems aims at developing a child's spiritual character at a young age. We welcome children in grades reception through year five with options for older children as well.

Heart Gem Teachers
Teachers of the Heart Gems classes are volunteers, often youth or adults who live in the neighbourhood where classes are offered. Heart Gems teachers see teaching these classes as a service to offer the younger generation, who will soon inherit the spiritual and material progress of their community.

The Heart Gem teachers have been trained in the curriculum, and have completed a child protection policy training, as well as undergone a working with children police check clearance.
